About Chabad Russian Center

Our sages teach us that when G-d wanted to give the Torah to the Jewish people he asked who will make sure the Torah stays relevant, and only when the Jews answered our children will have that responsibility G-d agreed to give them the Torah. Here at Chabad Russian Center we strive to help the youth understand that responsibility and merit they have to be the guarantors of our Torah.

The Gan was founded as a project of the Chabad Russian Center. Built to engage the young children of the Russian Jewish community, our goal is to create a warm Judaic environment that utilizes the Montessori values of child centered learning. Through art, music and lessons the children are engaging in the vibrancy of Jewish culture alongside rigorous academic lessons.

Hebrew School - A weekly program for kids to come and learn all about Judaism in a fun exciting environment, the children learn the Hebrew alphabet using the aleph champ system, they engage in activities teaching them Jewish holidays and Jewish values.

Hebrew Club - A weekly program held every Wednesday at the Norman S. Edelcup/Sunny Isles Beach K-8 where children have the opportunity to come for free and learn about their heritage, win prizes and meet the Jewish kids in the school.

Shabbat Program - A kids program during the Shabbat service where the kids pray and learn through games that week’s Torah portion.
